Renovation of a water / sewer project in Whiteshell, Manitoba. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The following is a brief description of the Work required for the project: 1. Supply and construction of a new WTP building including concrete slab foundation and superstructure. 2. Demolition of concrete foundation for Pump House #2. 3. Rehabilitation of Well #2 chamber with new pump, drop pipe, and discharge piping. 4. Mechanization of Well #1 with new industrial pitless adapter, pump, drop pipe, and electrical service. 5. Installation of site piping, including connections to existing underground infrastructure, including process waste tank and effluent pump. 6. Supply and installation of new water treatment equipment. 7. Supply and installation of new 240V-1ph service to WTP building. 8. Supply and installation of new mechanical equipment and electrical instrumentation and controls. 9. Supply and installation of integrated control panel that communicates and controls the systems in a logical manner as per the specifications. 10. Commissioning of water treatment package and training of water treatment plant staff in Fall of 2019. 11. In Spring 2020, assist with re-instating equipment and re-commissioning for start-up. 12. Site restoration and finish grading of site with topsoil and seed. 13. All work shall conform to the plans and these specifications and the MWSB Standard Construction Specifications.
