Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a multi-residential development in Enfield, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the addition of a multi-residential development; for the demolition of a multi-residential development; for the renovation of a multi-residential development; and for site work for a multi-residential development.
The Enfield Housing Authority (EHA) is seeking a qualified firm to serve as Construction Manager at Risk for its proposed redevelopment of Enfield Manor & Extension (the Project). EHA is requesting a Statement of Qualifications and Response to Request for Proposals from interested parties for the Project. The Project is anticipated to be funded layered financing including but not limited to financing from the State of Connecticut Department of Housing (DOH), the Connecticut Housing Finance Authority (CHFA). The EHA anticipates the need for 4% and/or 9% Low Income Housing Tax Credits. Prior successful experience working with DOH and CHFA-funded affordable housing developments of this scale is mandatory to qualify for consideration for the Project. The Project design and construction drawings are being developed by Capital Studio Architects, LLC of East Hartford, CT. Early and preliminary construction cost estimates for the project approximate $25 - $30 million. The EHA is seeking to reduce the project cost.
