Remodeling of a mixed-use development in Salem, Oregon. Completed plans call for the remodel of a 525-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility.

Remodel of existing restrooms to include finish upgrades, ADA and gender-neutral compliance located in the existing buildings located at the Oregon School for the Deaf. Work will include selective demolition of partition walls, finishes and plumbing fixtures, and construction of partition walls, finishes and plumbing fixtures as well as minor upgrades to mechanical and lighting systems. Restrooms are located in four buildings on campus and work shall take place consecutively. The purpose of this ITB is to establish a contract for ADA Restroom Upgrades and the Oregon School for the Deaf, on behalf of the Oregon Department of Education. The work will begin in June, 2023. General Project Description the Scope of the Project Includes, but May Not Be Limited to, the Following: 1. Remodel of Existing Restrooms on the Osd Campus. 2. Upgrade Ada and Gender-neutral to Compliance Prevailing Wage Rates for Public Works Contracts in Oregon, issued January 1, 2022, as amended on April 1, 2022. Prevailing Wage Apprenticeship Rates for Public Works Contracts in Oregon, issued January 1, 2022. 3. Contract Dates. Project Start Date: June 19, 2023 Substantial Completion: August 5, 2024 Final Completion: September 5, 2024 The following range is a Project estimate for bonding purposes: $750,000 to $800,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
