Site work and paving for a road / highway in Newark, California. Completed plans call civil work for a road / highway.
The City of Newark is seeking bids from interested firms for the above referenced project. The project consists generally of the placement of approximately 530,000 square feet of type II polymer modified slurry seal. In addition, the project includes crack sealing, applying herbicide, traffic striping and legends removal, street sweeping on various streets throughout the City, thermoplastic re-striping, and other related items of work as indicated in the project Specifications. Additive alternate items of work include the substitution of black aggregate and other related items of work as needed to complete the improvements. The Engineer Base Bid estimate for this project is $355,000. The Contractor shall possess a Class A, Class C-12 or Class C-32 license at the time bids are opened.
