As of July 31, 2019 the project is not yet awarded. A timeline for award is not yet determined. Each Proposal shall be submitted on forms contained in the Project Manual. The project scope includes stormwater repair and general facility improvements to the existing Anderson County Soccer facility. The facility is located on the northeastern corner of the Anderson County High School campus. Work will be limited to stormwater structure and piping improvements, grading, and reseeding of the soccer field and adjacent drainage areas Sealed proposals for the following work will be received by the Anderson County Board of Education in the manner and on the date hereinafter specified for the furnishing of all labor, materials, supplies, tools, equipment, services, etc., necessary for the construction of Anderson County High School Bid Package No. 1 - Soccer Field Improvements as set forth in the specifications and as shown on the drawings prepared by RossTarrant Architects, Inc., 101 Old Lafayette Avenue, Lexington, Kentucky 40502. No proposal shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the date of bid opening. Bids will be received from Contractors for a Total Lump Sum Amount. All phases of the work shall be bid to and through the Contractor submitting the proposal. Bid Security in the amount of five (5) percent of each proposal submitted must accompany each Proposal in accordance with the Form of Proposal. Right to Reject and Waiver: The Owner reserves the right to accept any bid, to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in bids received where such acceptance, rejection, or waiver is considered to be in the best interest of the Owner or to reject any bid where evidence or information submitted by the bidder does not satisfy the Owner that the bidder is qualified to carry out the details of the Contract Documents. The Owners desire to waive irregularities and informalities as to a bid shall be reviewed and final judgement made by the Kentucky Department of Education, Division of Facilities Management, prior to approval of the contract and financing plan. Postage and handling fees shall be paid directly to Lynn Imaging. Deposit checks shall be made payable to RossTarrant Architects, Inc. It is most important that requesting firm identify the position of the firm as to prime bidder, miscellaneous Contractor, material supplier, or other. Please give name, address, telephone number and email address of person responsible for receiving Addenda material and general communication concerning this bidding. Plans and Specifications must be returned directly to Lynn Imaging within thirty (30) calendar days after the closing date for the receipt of bids, in good condition, otherwise no refund will be made.
