Larimer County intends to contract with one (1) or more qualified Contractor(s) to perform miscellaneous asphalt, concrete, and other related work for various construction projects throughout Larimer County. The Contractor will partner with the Larimer County Engineering Department when plans for a project are not complete and will assist in coordinating and managing the project. This contract will be for a variety of construction tasks at various work sites in the County. It is anticipated that the majority of the work will be asphalt-related with the remainder being items related to earthwork, culverts/storm drainage, concrete curb, gutter, sidewalk, and other miscellaneous concrete flatwork, rip rap, structure maintenance, landscaping, and natural area restoration. Projects will range in size and scope from isolated asphalt patching, rehabilitation of existing subdivision infrastructure, to complete reconstruction of roadways and drainage ways. Although no guarantee is made, every effort will be made to group work sites in the same general area into one (1) project. Addenda will be published online at Rocky Mountain e-Purchasing and on the Larimer County Purchasing site. Larimer County reserves the right to reject any and or all proposals, to further negotiate with Contractor and to waive informalities and irregularities in proposals received, and to accept any portion of the proposal if deemed to be in the best interest of Larimer County to do so. If, in the sole judgment of the Board of County Commissioners, the proposals are substantially equal, the Board may grant the contract to companies located in Larimer County, however this is not applicable in the case that Federal funds are used. The total cost of proposal preparation and submission shall be borne by the proposer.
