Energy Retrofit Project at Emergency Services Headquarters. The project will meet TransformTO goals for deep energy retrofits that will achieve the following goals: 1. An average energy reduction of 40 percent in City buildings by 2040, based on 2017 baseline. 2. Reduce city GHG emissions by 80 percent from 1990 levels. 3. Maximize opportunities of renewable energy 4. Achieve financial return within maximum of 20 years using City's interest rates. TIMELINE: The owner awarded a Pre-Qualified Request for Proposals from Equipment Suppliers to provide all required Equipment and installation in 2020. The consultant has completed design and is acting as the integrated engineering constructor for the project. Construction began May, 2021 and is expected to be completed by December of 2022. No sub trade tenders will be issued for this site. The RFP for this project was pre-qualified from Request to Pre-Qualify (RTP) No. 1201-18-5011.
