Renovation of a water / sewer project in Pasadena, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
This contract is to provide a "Turn-key"project for the installation of upgraded DTB Pumps (provided by Owner) and new pump discharge header piping and valves in adherence to 00 21 13, Instructions to Bidders, 00 72 00 General Conditions, 00 73 00 Supplemental Conditions and 01010, Summary of Work.The Contractor shall construct the temporary 30-inch reroute discharge piping header; remove and dispose of the existing 3 vertical turbine pumps, motors, and associated discharge piping; demolish the existing 30-inch discharge piping header; modify the existing reinforced concrete and steel pipe supports; construct the new 36-inch discharge piping header; construct/install 3 new vertical turbine pumps, motors, and associated discharge piping; and demolish the temporary 30-inch reroute discharge piping header. Note that the Contractor will be required to closely coordinate with the Electrical Contractor and with the GCA during all construction activities. A bid security in the form of a Bid Bond or a Cashier Check in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bidder's maximum Bid Price must be submitted with each bid.5. GCA will evaluate offers in relation to the selection criteria contained in the Bid Documents and will select the proposal that offers the best value for GCA based upon the selection criteria and weighted value for each criterion. GCA reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
