Hollywood System, Phase II Nellis Air Force Base ReachConstruction of a reinforced concrete box (RCB) storm drain and open channel system in Hollywood Boulevard from 400 feet north of Las Vegas Boulevard to Munitions Road on Nellis Air Force Base property, and a riprap-lined and earthen channel to daylight. Work involves construction of storm drain facilities comprised of single- and multi-cell RCBs; reinforced concrete rectangular open channels; confluence, transition, and inlet flume structures; reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) lateral storm drains; drop inlets with aprons; and manholes. Other associated improvements include relocation of a 16-inch water line; relocation of 20-inch, 12-inch, and 10-inch sanitary sewer lines; installation of steel casings and concrete caps; installation of security fence, access control grate, post and cable fence, and tortoise fencing; removal and reconstruction of bituminous pavement, curb and gutter, pavement markings; and other appurtenances associated with urban flood control facility construction The work includes construction under the terms of the NDOT Occupancy Agreements for work in Las Vegas Boulevard and construction on Nellis Air Force Base property under the terms of Federal AviationAdministration (FAA) Form 7460-1 and a City agreement with the Air Force. The Project shall be completed within 450 consecutive calendar days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed, in which time shall include resolution of all punch list items, final cleanup and demobilization.
