Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Omaha, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the construction of a 103,000-square-foot educational facility.
As of August 02, 2019 project not yet awarded. Sampson Construction will be our recommended to board on August 27, 2019. Project consists of the BUILDING PACKAGE for the New Automotive Facility for Metro Community College South Omaha Campus. Project Description: This BUILDING PACKAGE project contains the building portion of the project for the new Automotive Facility to be constructed at the Metropolitan Community College South Omaha Campus. The project includes the new 103,000 SF facility designed for the Auto Tech and Collision Programs. The project will contain civil, landscape, irrigation, architectural, structural, fire suppression and alarm, mechanical, electrical, telecom, and security scopes of work as indicated in the project manual and on the drawings. (Please note, the SITE PACKAGE portion of the project has been bid separately and will be awarded prior to this project. It will be required for the Site Package GC and Building Package GC to coordinate with each entity to ensure a complete project is delivered to the owner). The overall project is targeted to be a LEED Silver certified project with the USGBC and the GC will be responsible to assist in achieving this level of certification as indicated in the contract documents.
