On 9 October, 2019 at 7:00PM, prevailing time, at the West Goshen Township Office, the Owner will consider and possibly take action on the received Bids. The Project includes the following Work Construction of a new tertiary treatment system including flash mix and reaction tanks, clarifiers, chemical feed systems, two (2) tertiary clarifiers, treatment building, and installation of Owner procured magnetite mix and recovery systems, and construction of new building; and replacement of existing belt filter presses, polymer system, sludge feed pumps, and sludge conveyor, with new dewatering screw presses, polymer system, sludge feed pumps, and sludge conveyor. Work also includes rehabilitation of existing dewatering building. This Project falls under The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania enacted Act 127 of 2012, known as the Public Works Employment Verification Act (the Act) which requires all public work contractors and subcontractors to utilize the Federal Governments E-Verify system to ensure that all employees performing work on public work projects are authorized to work in the United States. All Bidders are required to submit a Public Works Employment Verification Form as a precondition for the Contract Award. The estimated cost for each Contract is greater than Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000) and the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act shall apply. All bids shall be irrevocable for 60 days after the bid opening date as provided by the Act of November 26, 1978 (P.L. 1309, No. 317), as amended by the Act of December 12, 1994 (P.L. 1042, No. 142).
