Renovation of a museum in Anniston, Alabama. Working plans call for the renovation of a museum.

This is a Pre-solicitation Notice Only. The National Park Service, East Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue a Solicitation to provide repairs for the Freedom Riders National Monument Anniston, AL. The work of this contract will consist of providing all material, labor, and supervision to perform Roof Inspection, Roof Repairs, Electrical Inspection, Electrical Repairs, Repair Suspension Ceiling Grid System, Install Acoustical Ceiling Tiles, Install Air Diffusers, and Service HVAC System. A Scope of Work (SOW) will be provided with the solicitation documents. This procurement will be set-aside for Small Business firms. The NAICS code is 236220. The small business standard is $36.5M. All interested offers MUST have an active vendor record in SAM.gov, be a small business under the identified NAICS code and NOT have any exclusions such as a delinquent federal debt or debarment. A firm-fixed-price contract is expected to be awarded towards the end of July. Note: Davis Bacon prevailing wages for Calhoun County, Alabama will apply. The Government intends to award (1) one contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Hard copy documents including drawings will not be available - all available documents will be posted for download. Offers will be due approximately 30 days after issuance of solicitation unless extended by amendment. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for submission of offers. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation. After issuance of solicitation, send any inquires via email to edward_dingle@nps.gov by 5:00 pm (ET) on 15 July, 2019. NO oral questions will be accepted. Note: No additional information is available until the solicitation is released. No bidder list is maintained by the Contracting Officer, however, you can add your name to the "Interested vendors" in the solicitation and the system will notify you of any update. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
