Renovation of a multi-residential development in Kingsburg, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
Bids to include: Bid Form, Bid Bond, Form of Non-Collusion, Previous Participation Form, and acknowledgement of any addenda. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the "Housing Authority of the County of Tulare," U. S. bonds, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and acceptable sureties in the amount equal to five (10) percent of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance bond and labor and material bond, 100% each of the bid amount by the preconstruction meeting. Attention is called to the provisions for Equal Opportunity Employment, and the payment of not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the specifications and/or wage scale must be paid on this project. This project is eligible for the Section 3 Affirmative Action Plan which requests the contractor to make a good-faith effort to employ any low-income tenants who might be available for work on the project. The successful bidder shall furnish on-site supervision for the duration of this project. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 30 days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the Housing Authority of the County of Tulare. The Housing Authority of the County of Tulare reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding.
