Renovation of a water / sewer project in Louisville, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

Each bid must contain the full names of the party or parties making the same, with an affidavit as to interested parties, and in the case of a corporation not chartered in Ohio, with a proper certificate that such corporation is authorized to do business in Ohio, and shall be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty Bond for the full amount (100%) of the Bid, in favor of the City of Louisville, Ohio or a certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in the amount of 5% of the Bid, payable to the City of Louisville, Ohio. It is agreed that the bid guaranty shall be for the benefit of the City pursuant to Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code if the undersigned fails to execute the Contract in conformity with the Form of Contract incorporated in the contract documents and furnish Bond and insurance certificates within ten (10) days after the notification of the award of the Contract to the undersigned. The work covered by the Contract Documents includes the following: Contract A Complete Plant The proposed work includes the replacement of electrical systems into a new electrical room, the isolation of the equipment components to minimize corrosion, the replacement of the Heating, Ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, the replacement of existing corroded building assets, improvements to the SCADA system, rehabilitation of the existing filters, replacement of valves, chemical feed systems, replacement of aeration enclosure and the installation of two new high service pumps. The estimated construction cost is $2,350,000 as of June 27th, 2019. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractorcompliance with the Equal Employment Opportunity Requirements of the Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's Executive Order of 1972, and the Governor's Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. Attention of BIDDERS is called to all requirements contained in the Contract Documents, particularly to the State of Ohio Equal Employment Opportunity Requirements and Bid Conditions of OPWC-Assisted Construction Projects. BIDDERS must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Stark County, Ohio, as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services, Wage & Hour Division, (614) 644-2239. Instructions to BIDDERS are included in the Contract Documents. Successful BIDDERS shall be required to comply with all laws pertaining to minimum wage and discrimination of persons. The City of Louisville reserves the right to reject any and all Bids or to increase or decrease or omit any item or items and/or award to the lowest responsive and responsible BIDDER. Each proposal must contain the full name of every person or company interested in the same. The City of Louisville reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the Bidding.
