In the event the bidder refuses to execute said contract, the use by the public of said structure(s) will be delayed and the public will suffer great damage. Therefore, Fontana Unified School District and the bidder agree that the above sum shall be paid to Fontana Unified School District under the conditions above set forth as liquidated damages and not as forfeiture This project is subject to labor compliance monitoring and enforcement of prevailing wage requirements by the Department of Industrial Relations. The successful bidder(s) and any listed subcontractor(s) shall be required to furnish electronic certified payroll records directly to the Labor Commissioner, Division of Labor Standards Enforcement. Contractor must be in possession of a current valid Class B California Contractors License at the time of bidding and through project completion. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, and waive any irregularities or informalities in any bid or in the bidding; and to accept or reject any items thereon. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of thirty (30) days after the date set for the opening thereof.
