Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Working plans call for the construction of a 4,843-square-foot, one-story above grade service station / car wash facility; and for site work for a service station / car wash facility.

The Quick Turnaround Facility is to consist of three (3) drive through wash bays of approximately 150m2 each, (with potential to add a fourth bay), mechanical and electrical rooms, common worker washroom(s), janitorial room and common storage for rental car and building maintenance supplies. Parking for up to 40 rental vehicles in a nose to tail configuration and parking for worker vehicles. A "card-lock" fueling station for rental vehicles and building and site access control and security. TIMELINE: Tender from general contractors was expected in early 2025. Project may have been put on hold or deferred. Scope of work and project schedules may be confirmed late 2025/2026, pending owner's decision to proceed. *Total cost is estimated at $4 million.
