Demolition, site work and new construction of an educational facility in Saint-Hyacinthe, Quebec. Design plans call for site work for a educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; and for the construction of a 39,520-square-foot, two-story above grade, 17-room educational facility.
Construction of a new elementary school in the site of the Maurice-Jodoin building of the Passereaux school that will be demolished. The construction project for the new elementary school targets a building with four (4) preschool classrooms, nine (9) elementary classrooms, two (2) classrooms for students with disabilities, social maladjustments or learning difficulties (EHDAA), one daycare room and one double gymnasium. The scope of the project also includes the decontamination of the site, landscaping, construction of a parking area for bus landing and a schoolyard. Note. The previous project of the existing school expansion was replaced by the construction of a new facility. TIMELINE: Project has been put on hold at conceptual design stage. Tender and construction schedules are undetermined. Further update in spring, 2026.
