Site work and asbestos abatement for a municipal facility in Oakville, Ontario. Completed plans call for asbestos abatement for a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
The removal of asbestos cement transite soffit panels for two exterior overhang areas at Oakville Town Hall. The east soffit also has fire retardant known to contain asbestos sprayed on the exterior precast concrete panels. Once the ACMs have been removed the Contractor is to construct insulated walls between the top of the windows and the underside of the steel roof deck and enclose the soffits using aluminum soffit material selected to match other soffits of the building.
