Site work for a civil project in Racine, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
Prequalification Required: Yes Description: Project involves approximately 11,200 L.F. 36-inch diameter water main, 600 L.F. 36-inch water main in 48-inch casing jack and bore, 200 L.F. 36-inch diameter water main directional drill, 36-inch diameter butterfly valves, hydrants and leads, erosion control, asphalt path restoration, 48-inch temporary culvert, tree removal, traffic control and restoration. All Work is included in a single prime contract. Bids received from entities who are not Plan Holders of Record may be returned as being nonresponsive. Bidding Documents, including Drawings and Specifications, may be examined at the offices of Racine Water Utility and the Consulting Engineer during regular business hours. Construction time is of the essence. Completion delays are subject to liquidated damages. Minority-Owned (MBE) Business Enterprises and Women-Owned (WBE) Enterprises 10% Combined. Bid proposals from Minority Business Enterprises (MBE), Women-owned Business Enterprises (WBE), Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), Emerging Business Enterprise (EBE), Small Businesses Enterprise (SBA), Service Disabled Veteran and or Veteran-owned Business (SDV/SVB), are encouraged. The Racine Water and Wastewater Utility reserves the right to accept the most advantageous Bid, or to reject any and all Bids. Award of Work described herein is subject to the provisions of the Wisconsin Statutes.
