Site work and paving for a transportation facility in Brookhaven, Mississippi. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; and for paving for a transportation facility.
Furnishing all labor, materials and equipment and performing all work necessary to complete the following project: Brookhaven- Lincoln County Airport Improvements Project, Taxiway Construction.Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid guaranty in the amount of five (5) percent of the total amount of the bid. The bid guaranty may be by certified check or bid bond made payable to City of Brookhaven. Bids may be held by the City of Brookhaven for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of evaluating bids prior to award of contract. Contract award will be contingent on receiving project funding approval under the Airport Improvement Program. The right is reserved, as the City of Brookhaven may require, to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in the bids received. This project is subject to the requirements of the Davis-Bacon Act, as amended. The Contractor is required to comply with wage and labor provisions and to pay minimum wages in accordance with the schedule of wage rates established by the United States Department of Labor. The City of Brookhaven, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders or offerors that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, [select disadvantaged business enterprises or airport concession disadvantaged business enterprises] will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
