Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Margaretville, New York. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.

The Project will consist of the following: site preparation, maintenance and protection of traffic, erosion and sediment control, stream protection, maintenance of the temporary gravel bypass road and single lane bridge, removal and disposal of the existing bridge deck with steel stringers, selective demolition, backfilling the scour hole under the west abutment, cast-in-place concrete bridge abutment modifications, PZ-22 steel pile scour protection, construction of a 37 feet long by 20 feet wide precast concrete bridge deck on steel stringers, select fill backfill, subbase, asphaltic concrete paving, bridge rail, guide rail, rip-rap, drainage, site restoration and all incidentals required for a complete project in the Town of Hardenburgh, Ulster County, New York. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. The project is being funded by the NYS Governors Office of Storm Recovery (GOSR), NY Rising Community Reconstruction Program with Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) funds and New York State Department of Transportation PIN 8762.41. Both above sources of funding are dedicated to the construction activities described herein.
