Site work and paving for a transportation facility in John Day, Oregon. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; and for paving for a transportation facility.

Work associated with proposed improvements is generally described as follows: SCHEDULE A: Reconstruct Corporate Apron (AIP) SCHEDULE B: Reconstruct Corporate Apron (Non-AIP) Schedule A will consist of the demolition of the Corporate Apron, replacing the existing failing pavement section with a new asphalt pavement section with increased strength and improved drainage. Additional work items include removing and replacing apron tie-downs, and re-striping the apron to meet FAA design standards. Goals for minority participation for each trade 4.0% Goals for female participation in each trade 6.9% Schedule B will consist of the demolition of the non-AIP eligible portion of the Corporate Apron, replacing the existing failing pavement section with a new asphalt pavement section with increased strength and improved drainage. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any and all informalities and to negotiate contract terms with the successful Bidder, and the right to disregard all non-conforming, non-responsive or conditional Bids. DBE contractors are small business concerns owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals (DBE) and certified as meeting the requirements of 49 CFR 26. In the event that the bidder for this solicitation qualifies as a DBE, credit for DBE participation is awarded only for work actually performed by DBEs themselves. Individuals who are rebuttably presumed to be socially and economically disadvantaged include women, Black Americans, Hispanic Americans, Native Americans, Asian-Pacific Americans and Subcontinent Asian Americans. The apparent successful competitor will be required to submit Exhibit V Letter of Intent concerning the DBEs that will participate in this contract. The information will include the name and address of each DBE, a description of the work to be performed by each named firm, and the dollar value of the contract.
