The work for which bids are asked includes the following: 2,000 LF of 12"-24" diameter RCP storm sewer; 100 LF of 6" HDPE storm sewer; 30 EA precast con- crete storm sewer structures; 4,700 LF of concrete curb/gutter; 17,000 SF of concrete sidewalk and driveway apron; 11,000 SY of 8" concrete pavement; 12,000 SY of crushed aggregate base and geogrid; 100 TON of asphalt pavement; 5,000 SY of topsoil and sodding; 21 EA street lighting units plus 3,500 LF of lighting conduit, 17,000 LF wire and 1 EA control cabinet; 8,000 LF of epoxy pavement marking; along with signing, erosion control, traffic control, site grading/earthwork, clearing/ grubbing, sanitary sewer and water utility structure adjustments, cleanup and related miscellaneous construction. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the OWNER as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract.
