Renovation of a municipal facility in Greenville, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The General Services Administration (GSA) Southeast Sunbelt Region 4 announces the opportunity for a Small Business General Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment and supervision to : design, required labor and material supply, replacement, and improvement of the chiller that was installed in 1962. The Method of procurement for this requirement is full & open competition with set-aside for Small Businesses. The estimated project magnitude is between 250,000 and 500,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this requirement is 238220 - Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors The Period of Performance for this project is one hundred twenty (150) calendar days. The project is to be awarded as a firm fixed price contract and the procurement method will be a competitive negotiated Request for Proposal (RFP) Source Selection Procedures as identified in FAR PART 15.3. Award will be made using Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) Simplified Acquisition Process. The Government will first evaluate price to determine the lowest through highest priced offers. The Government intends to evaluate the technical proposals of only the three lowest priced offers, subject to the number received. The remaining technical proposals, if any, shall not be evaluated as to technical acceptability unless one of the three lowest price offers proves to be technically unacceptable, then the fourth-lowest priced proposal will be evaluated for technical acceptability. Any costs incurred by offerors in preparing or submitting offers are the offerors' sole responsibility; the United States will not reimburse any offeror for any proposal preparation costs. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading the solicitation (Statement of Work, clauses and bid forms) and for monitoring the website for possible amendments and/or additional information. Prospective offerors must be active in System for Award Management (SAM).
