This project will be advertised as a total small business set-aside. This project in includes reconstruction of 14.52 miles of the Main Park road, the installation of multi-cell box culverts in three different locations, concrete curb, and installation of 120 culverts located within Petrified Forest National Park. The major work elements include cold recycle asphalt base course using the existing pavement, subgrade preparation, finish grading, asphalt concrete paving, concrete curb, replacement of CMP culverts, and riprap placement. Significant Items for Schedule A Include: 74,000 SQYD of cold in-place recycled asphalt base course 6" depth, 9,800 TONS of hot asphalt concrete paving, 810 LNFT of 24 inch of Dual wall HDPE culvert, 235 of LNFT 36 inch of Dual wall HDPE culvert, 600 LNFT of 24 inch culvert pipe lining, 170 LNFT of 8 feet span by 3 feet rise precast reinforced concrete box culvert, 600 CUYD of roadway excavation, 6,000 CUYD of sub excavation, 2,290 LNFT of 12 inch colored concrete curb, and 350 LNFT of Guardrail system MGS, type 2 with steel posts and terminal sections. Significant Items for Option X Include: 87,000 SQYD of cold in-place recycled asphalt base course 6" depth, 10,500 TONS of hot asphalt concrete paving, 900 LNFT of 24 inch of Dual wall HDPE culvert, 82 LNFT of 36 inch of Dual wall HDPE culvert, 1,800 LNFT of 24 inch culvert pipe lining, 240 LNFT of 36 inch culvert pipe lining, 900 CUYD of roadway excavation, 4,500 CUYD of sub excavation, and 7,000 LNFT of 12 inch colored concrete curb. Significant Items for Option Y Include: 54,000 SQYD of cold in-place recycled asphalt base course 6" depth, 8,700 TONS of hot asphalt concrete paving, 800 LNFT of 24 inch of Dual wall HDPE culvert, 50 LNFT of 36 inch of Dual wall HDPE culvert, 330 LNFT of 24 inch culvert pipe lining, 16,500 CUYD of sub excavation, and 480 LNFT of 12 inch colored concrete curb.
