Renovation of a fire / police facility in Brandon, Manitoba. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
The Contractor shall: 1. Obtain their own measurements 2. Remove old counter tops from work area 3. Supply and install metal frame supports to hold counter top a. Metal supports to be primed and painted white b. Supports to be made of metal tubing 4. Supply and install 23" counter top. A drawing has been provided for reference a. Laminate finish b. Color to be determined by City c. Counter top to have two (2) finished ends d. Counter top will not have a backsplash and shall have a rounded front edge e. Counter top to be notched to accommodate jog in brick wall as indicated in the drawing (refer to "spacer") f. Bracket and counter top to be approximately 30" from floor to top of counter top and must allow a filing cabinet to slide underneath frame g. Height of counter top will be determined by the height of file cabinets, metal bracket and counter top combined. Counter top height should not exceed 32" h. Install four (4) file cabinets under counter top. File cabinets will be supplied by the City i. File cabinets are 15" wide x 28" high x 23" deep 5. Counter top to be sealed along wall with appropriate color of silicone caulking 6. Supply and install in counter top six (6) 3" plastic grommets for wiring, black in color a. Location of grommets to be determined by Firehall staff 7. Upon completion of the Work, clean and wipe down the counter top surface Administrative enquiries and requests for clarification of the Quotation process shall be made to Lindsay Loree, either by Fax at 204-726-8546 or Email purchasing@brandon.ca and must be received not less than seven (7) days prior to the date for closing of Quotations.
