As of November 22, 2022, all bids received were rejected. At this time, the owner is attempting to secure more funding to rebid the project, a decision regarding approval of funding is not expected to be made prior to May, 2023. The Project consists of the demolition and installation of new lighting throughout Calvert Library Prince Frederick. The work shall include site/civil, general construction, mechanical, and electrical, and shall be constructed in accordance with all Contract Documents and Drawings. The work shall be completed in a single phase. Work shall be fully complete within sixty (60) calendar days after the full receipt of materials or as otherwise directed by Calvert County Government. The Contractor shall: 1) Apply for and be responsible for the Notice of Intent (hereinafter, NOI) as needed. Each bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond for five percent (5%) of the bid price. A certified check for five percent (5%) of the bid price, payable to the Calvert County Treasurer shall be accepted in lieu of a Bid Bond. The Contractor shall be required to post Security for both a Labor and Material Bond (Payment) and a Performance Bond for this Contract in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract value each posted to Calvert County Government in accordance with this ITB.
