Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in North Bay, Ontario. Completed plans call for the construction of a 85,000-square-foot, two-story above grade clubhouse / community center; and for site work for a clubhouse / community center.
Construction of a twin pad arena at the Steve Omischl Sports Complex. Progressive design-build that will achieve substantial construction completion in 2025 and meet net zero carbon building requirements. The Community and Recreation Center is a Greenfield project that will be located adjacent to and integrated into the existing Omischl Sports Fields Complex. Construction of a new Community Centre building of approximately 85,000 sq. ft., include 2 Hockey Canada standard size ice surfaces, 200'x 85' with seating areas, changerooms, administration offices and kitchen space, a second level walking track and viewing area. The multi-use facility will be fully integrated with the existing Steve Omischl Sports Complex at 1055 Lakeshore Drive. The facility will be commissioned as a net-zero-carbon facility. Question Deadline: Thu Mar 14, 2024 3:00:00 PM (EDT) Early works to Commence November 2024. *It's estimated meeting the Net Zero energy requirements could bring the project total to $60 million, if not more. *Project has secured $25.78 million from the Government of Canada's Green and Inclusive Community Buildings program, covering approx. 40 percent of the total cost. *Contract was awarded in the amount of 2,599.000 (plus HST).
