The project is located in Liberty Township, Trumbull County, Ohio. This project includes Mobilization/ Demobilization, Video Taping of Project Area, Clearing and Grubbing, Erosion and Sediment Control, Tie in to existing sanitary sewer, 4" PVC, DR-11 Force main (Directional Drill), Manhole with Air-release, Pump Station, Hydrostatic Testing, Demolition of Existing WWTP, Sewage Disposal, Debris Disposal, Plant Back Filling, Drive Way Repair, Package Plant Site Restoration, Reclamation of Disturbed Area, Pavement Repair. This project is located on Logan Way in Trumbull County, Ohio. The successful Bidder must enter into a Contract with Trumbull County within 10 days after receipt of the formal 'Notice of Award'. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of 60 days after the time of opening bids. State Prevailing wages are required for this project. Substantial Completion by 150 Days from Notice to Proceed. Restoration and Ready for Final Payment - 30 days from date of Substantial Completion. Liquidated damages at $1000/calendar day shall apply after the Substantial Completion date. Restoration and Ready for Final Payment Date shall be thirty (30) days after date Substantial Completion was scheduled or adjusted by Change Order, or earlier if actual date. Liquidated damages after Restoration and Ready for Final Payment Date of $250/day shall apply. Liquidated damages are cumulative if damages from Substantial Completion and Ready for Final Payment overlap. Bids must be submitted using only forms contained in the bound Project Bid Documents and must be sealed in individual envelopes addressed to the Trumbull County Commissioners. The Project name must be clearly shown on the outside the envelope. Full names and address of the party or parties making the Bid and all persons interested therein shall be named in the Bid Documents. Each Bidder must submit evidence of experience on projects of similar size and complexity, along with verifiable references for such work. Each Bidder must furnish a Bond, signed by a Surety Company authorized to do business in the State of Ohio, in the sum of 100 percent of the amount bid, or a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Letter of Credit, revocable only by Trumbull County, equal to 10 percent of the amount bid. Such Bond or check is a guarantee that if the Bid is accepted, a Contract will be entered into and the performance of it properly secured by a Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract (unless a 153.571 bond is provided with the bid), in accordance with Section153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. As Owner of the project, Trumbull County reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities in Bids received, to request additional information relative to a Bidder's job experience and/or equipment, to increase, decrease or omit any Item in the Contract Documents, and/ or to accept the Bid deemed most favorable to the County by the lowest, most qualified Bidder, in accordance with provisions of the "Method of Award", Page B-7 of "Instructions to Bidders".
