This project includes reconstruction of Dudley Street from Tongass Boulevard to the east end. The WORK generally consists of the replacement of underground utilities, including water main, sewer, storm drains, water services, fire hydrants, signage updates, limited concrete driveway and sidewalk, curb and gutter, asphalt resurfacing, and lighting updates per the Project Manual. Work is to be completed in two phases, with all work complete by August 2027. The WORK to be performed under this contract shall consist offurnishing all tools, equipment, materials, supplies, manufactured articles and furnishing all labor, transportation and services, including all fuel, power, water and essential communications and performing all WORK, or other operations required for the fulfillment ofthe contract in strict accordance with the Contract Documents. The WORK shall be complete, and all WORK, materials, and services not expressly indicated or called for in the Contract Documents which may be necessary for the complete and proper construction ofthe WORK in good faith shall be provided by the CONTRACTOR as though originally so indicated, at no increase in cost to the OWNER The WORK covered in the Contract Documents includes reconstruction ofDudley Street from Tongass Boulevard to the east end. WORK will include replacement ofthe ductile iron water main and services with high-density polyethylene, replacement ofthe 8-inch asbestos cement sanitary sewer main and services with polyvinyl chloride, and replacement ofthe corrugated metal pipe storm drain system with corrugated polyethylene pipe. WORK will also include replacement ofthe roadway subbase to a depth of 12-inches, resurfacing with asphalt cement pavement, and the addition of curb and gutter and sidewalk along the south side and valley gutter along the north side ofthe roadway and other miscellaneous related items ofWORK. WORK will also include installing two streetlights, one at Sierra Street intersection, and one at Forest Grove Drive intersection. The Project will be split into two phases with Phase 1 WORK limits are from Station "D" 10+00 to Station "D" 17+10. Phase 1 WORK shall include all WORK except seeding specified in the Contract within this station range and any WORK required to make temporary connection for underground utilities over winter shutdown period. Phase 1 Contract completion date is September 15, 2026 or 120 days from commencement ofwork - whichever comes first. Phase 2 WORK limits are from Station "D" 17+10 to Station "D" 24+00. Phase 2 WORK shall include all remaining WORK specified in the Contract. Phase 2 Contract completion date is August 15, 2027 or 100 days from commencement ofwork - whichever comes first.
