Time of receipt will be as determined by the time received in the Central Kitsap School District Capital Projects Office The scope of the work is to demolish the main building at Central Kitsap High School locat-ed at 3700 NW Anderson Hill Road, Silverdale, WA 98383, and to demolish the main building at Seabeck Elementary School locat-ed at 15565 Seabeck Highway NW, Seabeck, WA 98380. The por-tion of the high school referred to as the "900 Building" will remain and is not a part of this contract. A portion of the elementary school referred to as "the Multi-Purpose Building" will also remain. New utility services will be provided to the Seabeck Multi-Purpose Building, including sanitary sewer, water and fire service, and electrical service. Demolition include removal of all building components, asso-ciated utilities, underground stor-age tanks, and hazardous mate-rials, as directed by the Contract Documents. Upon completion of the demolition of the high school building, excavations for removal of underground structures and foundations will be backfilled, including basements and. crawl spaces, and the site will be grad-ed with up to 10,000 cubic yards of material moved onsite. The site will be restored with hydroseeding and site stabilization measures. Upon completion of the demolition of the elementary school building, excavations will be backfilled., and the site be graded and stabi-lized. It is requested that some person of authority from the office of the prospective bidder attend this meeting. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond with State-Licensed Surety Company as surety, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the bid, made payable to the Central Kitsap School District #401. The suc-cessful bidder shall be required to furnish a one hundred percent (100%) Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bond, Such bonds shall be furnished by a. surety company acceptable to the Owner. The Central Kitsap School District. #401 reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities and irregularities in the bidding and to accept bids, which are considered to be in the best interest of Central Kitsap School District #401. No bidder may withdraw his bid after the time set .for the opening thereof, unless the award of the contract is delayed for a period exceeding sixty (60) days.
