Site work for a municipal facility in Austin, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility.
The complete scope of this TxDOT Campus Consolidation project includes approx. 49 acre of site development including the five (5) buildings noted below and various site improvements: Bldg. 1 consists of constructing a new 418,703 SF 5-story Office Building that includes, but not limited to, cast-in-place concrete frame, glazed curtainwall and stone masonry with supporting MEPF building systems. Bldg. 2 consists of constructing a new 1,586 SF finished space and 548,700 SF 6-level open parking structure that includes, but not limited to, cast-in-place concrete structure. Bldg. 3 consists of constructing a new 145,600 SF 1-story warehouse building that includes, but not limited to, insulated concrete wall panel exterior, structural steel columns & roof structure, and supporting MEPF building systems. Bldg. 4 consists of constructing a new 73,395 SF 1-story lab building that includes, but not limited to, insulated concrete wall panel exterior, structural steel columns & roof structure, and supporting MEPF building systems. Bldg. 5 consists of constructing a new 13,170 SF 2-story central utility plant building that includes, but not limited to, metal panel exterior, structural steel columns & roof structure, and supporting MEPF building systems. Vaughn Construction (Construction Manager-at-Risk) will procure this project in "BID PACKAGES" through Q2 2020 to expedite construction of this TxDOT Campus Consolidation project. Reference Specification 01 10 00 "Summary" for bid package strategy. See "SUPPLEMENTAL BIDDING DOCUMENT" for this specific bid package scope summary and specific project information & requirements, including but not limited to; bidder instructions, bidder proposal & qualifications form (technical proposal), Contractor Controlled Insurance Program (CCIP), prevailing wage rates, subcontract terms & conditions, pre-bid meeting(s), proposal evaluation process, HUB response, BIM plan, temporary facilities, and site logistic plan. Please note the following in preparing your firm's proposal: Tax Exempt project - exclude Sales Tax on incorporated material. * Project CAD files may be available upon request & execution of Architect release form. Insurance Requirements: Vaughn Construction will be utilizing a Contractor Controlled Insurance Program (CCIP) for General Liability for this project. Please provide pricing that excludes General Liability and Umbrella/Excess Liability coverage but includes Workers Compensation, Auto Insurance, etc... **CCIP Manual: Please refer to Section 13 of the CM Supplemental Specifications (Vaughn Front Ends) or under folder labeled 'Other Documents'.** Waiver of Subrogation in favor of J.T. Vaughn Construction LLC, Inc and Owner on Workers' Compensation and Auto Policies. Additional Insured in favor of J.T. Vaughn Construction LLC, Inc. & Owner on Auto Policies.
