Site work for a water / sewer project in Houston, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

This project's work is generally described of consisting of the installation of approximately 9,070 linear feet of 8", 12", and 24" gravity sanitary sewers and sanitary sewer service leads. This work is to take place along Kansas Street, North Locust Drive, South Locust Drive, Ash Street, Pecan Street, and Cedar Street within the southern region of the Fort Bend County Freshwater Supply District No. 1. Work also includes the decommissioning of an existing lift station and forcemain. A cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond payable to the Fort Bend County Freshwater Supply District No. 1 in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total amount bid must accompany each bid. The successful bidder must furnish a payment and performance bond acceptable to owner. This contract is contingent upon release of funds from the Texas Water Development Board. Any contract or contracts awarded under this Invitation for Bids are expected to be funded in part by a loan from the Texas Water Development Board. Neither the State of Texas nor any of its departments, agencies, or employees is or will be a party to this Invitation for Bids or any resulting contract. The Fort Bend County Freshwater Supply District No. 1 has the right to reject any and all bids. Any contract(s) awarded under this Invitation for Bids is/are subject to the American Iron and Steel (AIS) requirements of P.L. 113-76 Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2014. Additionally, Davis-Bacon and Related Acts (DBRA) apply to contractors and subcontractors performing on federally funded or assisted contracts in excess of $2,000 for the construction, alteration or repair of public buildings or public works.
