Site work for a water / sewer project in San Antonio, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Sealed bids are requested by the San Antonio Water System for the construction of approximately 2,653 linear feet of existing sanitary sewer mains ranging from 8 to 15-inches by pipe bursting, cured-in-place pipe and open cut construction methods for the BPC Central Small Diameter Package 2 Project, SAWS Job No. 18-4533. This Project is part of the EPA consent decree. Each year SAWS is required to inspect High Risk pipes to evaluate their condition, and to take necessary action to avoid sanitary sewer overflows. Answers to the questions will be posted to the web site by 02:00 PM (CT) on August 1, 2019 as a separate document or included as part of an addendum . Please be advised that Bidders are prohibited from communicating with any other SAWS staff, the Consultant, the Developer, or City of San Antonio officials regarding this IFB up until the contract is awarded as outlined in the Instructions to Bidders. The SMWVB goal on this project is 20%
