Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a service station / car wash facility in Memphis, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the addition of a service station / car wash facility; and for the demolition of a service station / car wash facility.

Qualifications for This Project Are Due via Email to Jessica Payne at Jpayne@mlgw.org on or Before 1:00 Pm Cst on Friday, July 24, 2026. The Project Scope is to Provide Supervision, Labor, Transportation, Equipment, Chemicals, Tools, and Materials Necessary to Expand and Improve Mlgw's Existing North Service Center Located at 1060 Tupelo Street, Memphis, Tn 38108, to Incorporate the Relocation of the Central Shops Facilities. The Improvements Include the Management and Mitigation of Known Soil Contaminants in Two (2) Distinct Areas of the Properties Described in the Contract Documents. Additionally, the Project Will Construct a 100,000 Sf and 63,000 Sf Maintenance and Storage Building, Nearly 400,000 Sf of Asphalt Parking and Driveways, 34,000 Sf of Gravel Laydown and Storage Areas, Major Utility Relocation, 15,000 Sf of Iron Security Fencing With Landscaping and Irrigation, Two (2) Controlled Gated Entries With Guard Houses, Multiple Vehicle Wash Bays, and Various Other Training, Storage, and Maintenance Features. The Construction of This Project is Phased to Ensure Ongoing Operations Are Not Interrupted at the North Service Center. The First Phase Includes the Installation of the Perimeter Fencing, Construction of the Two (2) Entrances With New Guard Houses, Construction of New Parking Lots, and Construction of the New Storage and Laydown Areas. Existing Utilities Will Be Relocated and Abandoned as Prescribed in the Contract, and New Drainage Will Need to Be Installed to Allow for the Abandonment of Some of the Existing Drainage Systems. There Will Be a Period When Existing Materials Will Need to Be Relocated to Clear the Areas Where the New Maintenance and Storage Buildings Will Be Constructed. The Final Phase Will Include the Construction of Both Buildings and All Remaining Features and Appurtenances Described in the Construction Documents. The Work Must Be Performed in Strict Accordance With the Contract Documents, Specifications, and Drawings. Written Inquiries: Questions Regarding This Sealed Bid Must Be Submitted to Mlgw in Writing via Email to Jpayne@mlgw.org With "Contract No. 12682 - Written Inquiry" in the Subject LINE by No Later Than 10 Am Cst on Wednesday, July 15, 2026. Bidders Must Submit a Letter From Their Surety on the Surety's Letterhead Stating the Contractor Has a Single Project Bonding Capacity of $100,000,000.00, Naming Three (3) Projects Exceeding a $35,000,000.00 Contract Amount for Which the Surety Has Issued Payment and Performance Bonds for Any Owner Within the Past Ten (10) Years. The Bonded Projects Can Be Current Ongoing Projects. Additionally, Bidders Must Provide Proof of Possessing a Minimum of Ten (10) Years of Construction Experience. These Items Must Be Submitted With Your Qualification on or Before Friday, July 24, 2026, by 1:00 Pm Cst. Questions Regarding This Sealed Bid Must Be Submitted to Mlgw in Writing via Email to Jpayne@mlgw.org With "Contract No. 12682 - Written Inquiry" in the Subject LINE by No Later Than 10 Am Cst on Wednesday, July 15, 2026. During the Solicitation of This Sealed Bid, the Bidders Shall Not Contact Any Mlgw Staff Except Those Designated in This Document or Subsequent Addenda or Correspondence. Noncompliance With This Provision May Result in the Rejection of Your Firm's Bid. No Phone Calls Related to the Sealed Bid Will Be Accepted. The Tennessee Contractor's Classification Required for This Project Shall Be One of the Following or Any Tennessee-approved Contractor's License Applicable to This Project: Bc This Project is Exempt From the Mandatory Contractor's Licensing Requirements if the Bid Amount is Under $25,000. If the Bid Amount is Under $25,000, the Phrase "Exempt From Licensing Requirement" Must Appear in the Tennessee License Number Space on the Preprinted Bid Envelope Provided. However, Other Required Information (E.g., Project Title, Contractor's Company Name, Contractor's Address, and Bid Due Date) Must Be Completed. a Contractor's Labor and Materials Payment Bond in a Determined Sum of No Less Than 25% of the Bid Price. The Bond Shall Be Made Upon the Form Provided by Mlgw in This Packet and Shall Be Made Part of the Contract Documents. Such Surety Shall Be Acceptable to Mlgw. No Bidder May Withdraw a Bid for 120 Days After the Date and Hour Set for the Opening of Bids. Mlgw Reserves the Right to Reject Bids, to Waive Minor Irregularities in the Bids Received, and to Accept Any Bid or Portion of the Bid, That Mlgw, in Mlgw's Sole Discretion, Deems Most Favorable to the Interest of Mlgw.
