Site work, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Qualicum Beach, British Columbia. Design plans call for the addition of a 30,500-square-foot, two-story above grade swimming pool; for the renovation of a swimming pool; and for site work for a swimming pool.
Expansion of an existing aquatic centre. Phase 1 scope includes construction of new changerooms, washrooms, reception, lobby, multi-purpose room/classroom and staff support spaces. Phase 2 scope will include construction of a new pool and a steam and sauna room. Scope of work to be finalized. TIMELINE: Revised designs for the Ravensong Aquatic Centre will be presented to the Oceanside Services Committee and RDN Board to receive direction on an alternative project scope. Project is on hold pending funding. Tender and construction timelines are undetermined. Further update in late summer, 2026.
