Saving Project...

Renovation of a municipal facility in Meadville, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The Board of Commissioners of Crawford County, Pennsylvania, seeks sealed bids to replace a Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning system in an area to house the Office of the Public Defender at Crawford County Courthouse. The replacement HVAC system will serve an area being revamped for occupancy by the Public Defender's Office. The now-vacant area is the former 911 Communications Center/Emergency Services Office on the ground floor of the Courthouse. The Public Defender's personnel and operations will be relocating to that area from an off-site office building. Bids will be for a single-prime construction contract on a lump-sum basis. The HVAC replacement will involve mechanical and electrical work related to demolishing components of the existing system and installing new equipment. Any procedural questions on bidding should be directed to Brian Noah. Any technical questions on the construction documents are to be submitted in writing to Bill Minahan, wminahan@hflenz.com, of H. F. Lenz Company, the County's engineering consultant for this project. Last day for any questions from prospective bidders is 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 23, 2019. Late bids will not be accepted. The project is subject to Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage rates, and the successful bidder will be required to provide performance and payment bonds. The County reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
