Demolition, site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Tacoma, Washington. Completed plans call for the demolition of a clubhouse / community center; and for the construction of a 54,000-square-foot, two-story above grade educational facility.
Every Bidder must supply the Subcontractor list completed and submitted. to the Owner at the same location specified for receipt of Bids within one hour of the Base Bid time. The Bidder shall name the Subcontractor with whom the Bidder, if awarded the Contract, will subcontract directly (i.e., not lower-tier Subcontractors) for per-formance of the work of: heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, plumbing as described in RCW 18.106, electrical work as described in RCW 19.28, and any other categories of Work. listed on the Subcontractor list-ing form. Any Bidder who intends to self-per form. any of the categories of Work must name itself for each such category of Work. COVID-19 RECOMMENDATIONS: It is highly recommended that only one representative from the bidding contractor attend the bid opening. All social distancing and appropriate health protection measures shall be observed. All Bids and Alternates will then and there be publicly opened and read aloud. Bidders and oth-ers properly interested are invited to be present at the bid opening. Bid Proposals Part 1. and Part 2, either one or both, not received prior to their scheduled time of receipt. may be returned without consideration at the discretion of the Owner (Franklin Pierce School District). Bids received after the time fixed for receipt. cannot be considered. Certified check(s), bank cashiers check(s), or bid bond(s) shall be required with the Base Rid(s) equal to five percent (5%) of the Base Bid(s). Make check(s) or bid bond(s) payable to Owner (Franklin Pierce School District). The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, and to waive any informalities or irregularities in any Bid or in the bid-ding. Each Bid and other enclosures shall be enclosed in an opaque, sealed. envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and addressed to the Owner, Mark lower left corner of the envelope "Central Avenue Replacement ES." If full sets are not picked-up at ARC Document Solutions, a $75,00 mailing fee will be required.
