Demolition, site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Memphis, Texas. Conceptual plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; for the demolition of a municipal facility; and municipal facility.

The City of Memphis is seeking to select a qualified engineer/engineering firm registered to practice in the State of Texas to A) prepare certain application material necessary for application submission to the Texas Department of Agriculture for a 2019 Texas Capital Fund Downtown Revitalization Project and B) {Contingent upon funding availability from TDA} Provision of engineering services associated with project implementation including all preliminary and final design plans and specifications, and to conduct all necessary interim and final inspections. The City of Memphis wishes to improve slum and blight conditions in an area of Downtown Memphis. Project activities may include: replacing old and dangerous sidewalks in the downtown area with ADA compliant sidewalks and access ramps, demolition of deteriorating and/or unsafe building(s), improving public parking lot(s) in poor condition, and other eligible Downtown Revitalization program activities. Proposals will be considered during the regular Council Meeting scheduled on August 12, 2019 at Memphis City Hall at 7:00 P.M. The City reserves the right to negotiate with any and all individuals, engineers or firms that submit qualifications, as per the Texas Professional Services Procurement Act and the Uniform Grant and Contract Management Standards. Section 3 Residents and Business Concerns, Minority Business Enterprises, Small Business Enterprises and Women Business Enterprises are encouraged to submit proposals.
