Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Cornwall, Ontario. Completed plans call for the construction of a 43,200-square-foot, two-story above grade municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; and municipal facility.
The work for this project involves the construction of a new Administration Building, Visitor Parking Lot and Garage/Multiuse Building for the City of Cornwall Municipal Works and Infrastructure Department, located at 1225 Ontario Street. The work also includes the construction of a noise barrier wall along the south-eastern and eastern property limits, as well as civil site works within the Municipal Works Yard. *JL Richards has presented the design, saying they expect the administration office and garage to cost $25.3 million to build instead of the $16.6 million that was in budget, due to the rise in cost of materials.
