Site work and paving for a civil project in Whitehorse, Yukon Territory. Conceptual plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; and road / highway.
The Government of Yukon’s Forest Management Branch (FMB) wishes to hire a contractor capable of supplying equipment and operators for the construction of two Forest Resources Roads (FRR) into Operating Units (OU) within Little Fox Lake II Timber Harvest Plan. Road Construction into OU B includes 5 culvert installations, 6 landing locations, 190m of geotextile laid, with the total length of new construction at 4.64km. Road construction into OU D includes 2 culvert installations, 4 landing locations and the use of 80m of geotextile, with a total length of 1.57km. Ditches and water controls measures are to be included with the construction. Point of commencement (POC) for each road is located off existing FRR at Km. 260 of the North Klondike Highway; the POC for OU B FRR is located at km 6.5 and OU D FRR POC is located at km 9.4.Materials for construction, i.e culverts and geotextile, will be supplied by Forest Management Branch. Tender has been cancelled.
