Per the owner, as of October 2, 2020, an award has been made for this solicitation. A timeline for construction has not been determined. Closed solicitation has been included below for reference. ................ The purpose of this request for qualification is to prequalify firms determined to be best able to provide the required services based on the criteria specified whereby the City of Rocky Mount will contract with the selected firm. The Request for Qualifications packet submitted, and possible subsequent interviews shall serve as the basis for selection. The information provided in the RFQ package from the City is intended to give information to the prospective firms concerning the required services and the basis for awarding of the agreement for engineering services. It is not necessarily intended to completely define the selection criteria or contractual relationship to be entered by the City of Rocky Mount and the successful firm(s). The project consists of renovation of the +/-60-acre park located at Battle Park Lane in Rocky Mount, NC. The existing park includes greenway trail, picnic shelters, a boat ramp and canoe launch on the Tar River, a gazebo and grass open space. Full public engagement, open communication with staff and guidance as provided by City Management and City Council will all be hallmarks of a successful SiteSpecific Master Plan. The City recognizes each firm has a unique process for the development of planning documents and welcomes innovative methods. Similarly, funding sources have specific minimum requirements that must be included in the final Site-Specific Master Plan.
