Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Center, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
**As of 10/3/2019 award amount $351,900.88 The project generally consists of the excavation and construction on a +/- 3/4 acre concrete lined lagoon with piping and appurtenances. The Contract Documents consist of the Bid Proposal Package, and Addenda issued during the Bid Process and Plans. Prospective Bidders may examine the Contract Documents at the following locations: City of Center City Hall Center, Texas 75935 Everett Griffith, Jr. and Associates, Inc. 408 North Third Street Lufkin, Texas 75901 Each Bidder must deposit with his Bid a Bidder's Bond or Certified Check in the amount of five percent of the highest amount bid. In accordance with the provisions of the Instructions to Bidders, all bonds or checks will be returned when the successful Bidder enters into a Contract as specified. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities and/or to reject any or all bids. No Bidder may withdraw his Bid within ninety (90) days after the actual date of the bid opening. Project Site - All construction is located at the Aiken Water Treatment Plant appoximately 7 miles West of Center off of State Highway 7
