Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Greensboro, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work in this contract consists of construction of a masonry brick and block water booster pumping station; (3)-40HP fixed speed horizontal split case pumps; and associated valves and piping. All materials and workmanship shall be in accordance with all reference plans and specifications herein. Sealed proposals and MWBE Good Faith Efforts must be submitted on the blank forms provided and as specified in the bound copies of the contract documents. The bid shall be enclosed in two different sealed envelopes addressed to Mr. John Fersner, Engineering Division, 300 West Washington Street, Greensboro, North Carolina 27401. The outside of each envelope shall be plainly marked with the Project Name; Contract Number; the name, address and license number of the Bidder; and with the notation "BID ENCLOSED" and the other envelope with the MWBE participation noted as "MWBE GOOD FAITH EFFORTS". The City reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids or to award such contract as in its judgment is deemed to be in the best interest of the City.
