As of December 12, 2019, this project has been canceled. This Design-Build project will repair BEQ 53451 with 64 units at 53 Area, Horno, Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton for the continued use of the 1st Marine Regiment billeting. BEQ 53451 is a 29,442 square feet, two story concrete masonry unit (CMU) structure built in 1975. The existing building is in poor condition and requires work to bring it up to current Building Code and life safety standards. The building was last repaired in 2009 with minimal life, health, safety, and quality of life work, and still needs major repair work It needs general repair of accumulated wear and tear along with upgrades to plumbing systems and fixtures, electrical systems, windows and doors, locks, fan coil units and general architectural finishes. The Bid Form (CLIN Schedule) contains three (3) separate cost/line items. Also, included is the repair of the existing concrete drainage channel.
