**The owner has selected a Construction Manager.** The City solicits offers for the services of responsible Proposers to provide professional services for Construction Manager at Risk Services for Wildflower Park and Silver Palm Park Renovation and Improvements for the City of Boca Raton. Proposer shall submit their response subject to the provisions of Florida Statute Chapter 112.313, which addresses conflicting employment or contractual relationships with public officers, employees of agencies, and local government attorneys. The City of Boca Raton shall not be held responsible for the content of RFP packages obtained from any third party source nor will the City be responsible for providing addenda to potential Proposers who receive a RFP package from other sources than the City of Boca Raton Purchasing Division. Proposers may withdraw their Proposals by notifying the City in writing or using the Citys bidding system at any time prior to the deadline for Proposal submittal. After the deadline, Proposals once opened become a public record of the City and will not be returned to the Proposers. The Proposer understands that this RFP does not constitute an offer or a contract with the City. Award recommendations shall be subject to the approval of the City Manager, City Manager designee or City Council as provided for in the Citys Code of Ordinances. Award recommendations to be posted on the City of Boca Raton Purchasing Division Notice Board for a period of three business days prior to making the award, which conforms to all requirements herein and whose evaluation by the City indicates that the award will be in the best interest of the City. The City of Boca Raton is soliciting proposals for Construction Manager at Risk Services for Wildflower Park, Silver Palm Park and the Park Connector underneath the Palmetto Park Road Bridge Renovation and Improvements. Wildflower Park is located at 551 Palmetto Park Road and Silver Palm Park is located at 600 Palmetto Park Road, hereafter referred to as “Park”. One firm will be selected to manage and oversee construction of all work to be performed on the project. The total estimated cost is approximately Six Million Three Hundred and Forty Thousand Dollars ($6,340,000). No minimum value is guaranteed. The selected Construction Manager at Risk firm will function as a General Contractor responsible for all tasks required to construct both parks and the Park Connector in a successful and timely manner. These tasks include but are not limited to publicly bidding trade contracts, scheduling and coordination of projects from start to finish. The selected Construction Manager at Risk firm will provide limited preconstruction and construction phase services and be responsible for construction of the Project pursuant to a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) contract The Scope of Work as identified below is intended to provide the Construction Manager at Risk with an outline of anticipated services required for the Park in conjunction with the Agreement.
