Renovation of a municipal facility in Providence, Rhode Island. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Providence Office of Economic Opportunity is seeking qualified contractors to complete the rehabilitationof local business storefronts at two different locations in the City of Providence. The City of Providence has chosen to bundle these two projects due to the similarity in the scope of work on both projects. The city of Providence reserves the right to award these two projects to a single contractor or to two separate contractors –in the best interest of the city. In addition to stating the total base bid, the bidder shall state unit prices for the related work listed under each bid item which represents the work items included in the total base bid. The unit prices are quoted for computing adjustments to the base bid prior countermanded, reduced or omitted by the City in order to stay within the project budget. Base Bid items and unit process are to be completed prices to be added or deducted in the basis of quantities of work involved, for each item in place in the unit indicated. Q&A Deadline: 9/9/2019 12:00:00 PM The goal for Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) participation is 10% ofthe total bid value. The goal for Women's Business Enterprise (WBE) participation is 10% ofthe total bid value. The goal for combined MBE/WBE participation is 20% of the total bid value
