Renovation of a water / sewer project in Denison, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
For Repainting and Renovation of Clarifier Number 2 at Randell Water Treatment Plant The City of Denison will accept sealed bids for the Renovation and Repainting of Clarifier No.2 entire structures and associated mechanical components. The Work includes corrosion repair, surface preparation of all ferrous metal, and repainting of all prepared surfaces not including non-ferrus metals. Bids must be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check or acceptable bidder's bond, payable to the City of Denison, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the bid submitted. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities in the bidding procedure, to accept only part of a bid (in the event of multiple-item bids), and to accept the bid that the City considers to be in its own best interest, without regard to whether or not such bid is the best price received. No bid may be withdrawn less than forty-five (45) days after date on which bids are opened. Bids must be in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas. Prospective bidders will be permitted to view the site and proposed renovations. Clarifier No. 2 will not be out of service at this time. The Owner and Engineer will be represented at this meeting to answer questions relative to the renovation.
