Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Cary, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

As of June 8, 2022, this project is under construction. A proposed 20-acre neighborhood park site is located at the southeast corner of Green Level Church Road and McCrimmon Parkway in northwest Cary. The site was purchased in 2007 with a portion of the funding coming from a $700,000 grant from the Wake County Open Space Preservation Program. This neighborhood park will serve citizens in northwest Cary. Facilities to be built on this property will be determined through a public input process and through meetings with the staff team for this project. The park, however, will likely include many of the facilities recommended for neighborhood parks by the Cary Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Resources Facilities Master Plan. This plan can be viewed within the Cary Community Plan. The final program will be worked out through the design process; however, many of the following items are common in Cary's neighborhood parks. - Preservation of natural features: Protecting and enhancing the site's natural features is anticipated to be a critical component to the park. - Open lawn area: Lawn areas that are not programmed will most likely be a critical element in the park - Site amenities: May include seating, bike racks, picnic shelters, basketball/pickleball courts, restroom building and water/dog fountain. - Children's play areas - Parking: 40-60 spaces. - Paved greenway trail: An existing pedestrian tunnel under Green Level Church Road will provide a connection from the park to the Cary greenway system.
