Site work for a water / sewer project in Houston, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The proposed improvements consists of: Enclosing the existing open ditch along Mykawa Road (approximately 2,000 linear feet) by installing a dual set of reinforced concrete box culverts (RCBs) with junction boxes and connect to the downstream arch pipe crossing at Orange Street and to the upstream pipe crossing Cherry Street. Develop an upstream detention basin south of Cherry street with an approximate storage volume of 4.0 acre-feet. The basin will be graded alongside the existing road ditch to afford off-line storage; and Develop a downstream detention basin west of SH 35/Main Street and south of Town Ditch with approximate storage volume of 28.0 acre-feet. Incorporate both a low-flow outlet and an overflow spillway feature to optimize hydraulic performance.
